Labour Market Oriented Curriculum Workshop for Potential Applicants

Podgorica. The Labour Market Oriented Curriculum Programme workshop was organised on Thursday, 19th June 2008 at the Rectorate building in Podgorica.

The aim of the workshop was to present the Labour Market Oriented Curriculum Programme and the application process to the interested applicants, that is, teaching staff of the University of Montenegro.

The workshop was attended by around thirty professors, Mr Gerhard Schaumberger, representative of the Austrian Development Cooperation and Mr Almir Kovacevic, Executive Director of WUS Austria.

The meeting provided a basis for the exchange of previous experiences with applying for WUS Austria projects, detailed explanation of the application procedure and the deadlines, benefits of the programme for successful applicants, their faculties, colleagues and students, administrative procedures regarding obtaining letters of endorsement from the corporate partners or academic institutions, or equipment purchase, establishment of cooperation with Austrian faculties, etc.

The deadline for LMOCP applications is 31st August 2008 and it is expected that new courses created in accordance with labour market demands within the LMOCP will be introduced as from the academic year 2009/10.
