Universities Graz and Prishtina Sign Memorandum of Understanding
Graz-Prishtina. On December 18, 2007, the Rector of the
University of Prishtina, Enver Hasani, and the Rector of the University
of Graz, Alfred Gutschelhofer signed a Memorandum of Understanding in
Graz.
This strategically important document, which expresses the intention of
both universities to encourage and support co-operation for mutual
benefit between the two universities, was signed after a meeting at the
University of Graz where future co-operation possibilities were
discussed. Participants of the meeting were apart from the two rectors
Wolfgang Benedek, chairman of WUS Austria, and Sabine Pendl from the
International Relations Office of the University of Graz. The
delegation from Kosovo consisted of Marjan Dema, Vice Rector for
Finances and Infrastructure, Luan Ahma, Vice Rector for Research and
Academic Issues, Myzafere Limani, Dean, and But Dedaj, WUS Austria
Regional Manager in Prishtina.
