KnowHub Kick-off Meeting in Sarajevo
The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Reconnecting universities and enterprises to unleash regional innovation and entrepreneurial activity – “KnowHub” was held on March 11-12, 2020 at the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
WUS Austria, represented by Mr. Almir Adi Kovacevic, held a workshop on “Setting up 5 Commercialization Hubs”. The aim of the workshop was to plan the setting-up and equipment of five 5 Commercialization Hubs (one at each PCU) that will serve as one-stop-shops for the cooperation with enterprises. Their further aim is to support students and academic staff to commercialize their research results and entrepreneurial ideas. Mr. Kovacevic also held the presentation “Quality control and monitoring of the project”.
Program partners within the project are: FH Joanneum and WUS Austria from Austria, the University of Girona from Spain, University of Vaasa from Finland and NCDIEL Skopje from North Macedonia. Partner country universities are the European University Tirana and the University of Vlora from Albania, the University of Sarajevo, the University of Mostar and INTERA Mostar from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the University of Montenegro from Montenegro.
