InterCap Project – Modules on participatory educational methods, migration and sustainable development now online!

The InterCap project aims at promoting the understanding of migration and development in the context of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in teacher education. These include: Philosophy for Children (P4C), Theater for Living (T4L) und Open Space for Dialogue and Enquiry (OSDE). By using these methods, topics such as migration, sustainable development and SDGs shall be anchored in the classroom in an innovative way.

In the first year of the project a training package has been developed, which is designed for both online and face-to-face teaching. The six modules, which were developed, provide learners with the most important definitions, concepts and interdependencies in relation to migration and sustainable development and provide insight into the participatory methods mentioned above:

Module 1: Migration, Sicherheit und Nachhaltige Entwicklung in einer interdependenten Welt: Theorie und Praxis

Module 2A: Entwicklungspolitische Bildung und Ausbildung von Lehrkräften: Europäischer Kontext

Module 2B: Entwicklungspolitische Bildung und Ausbildung von Lehrkräften: Nationaler Kontext (to open this module you need to register first: https://www.developtogether.eu/en/cb-registration)
