iDEAlab - Training „Getting investment ready“

Sofia: The Training of the TEMPUS project „iDEAlab: Fostering students' entrepreneurship and open innovation in university-industry collaboration“ took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, from January 29th to February 1st 2015. The training was held at Eleven with partner institutions from Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, United Kingdom, Germany and  Austria. After the opening words about Eleven as an accelerator, how is it structured and how it works, the partner institutions gave a short reflection of the iDEAlabs at their  institutions. Afterwards, the iDEAlab Quality Assurance Plan was presented. The purpose of the training was to show and discuss with the participants what early-stage investors look for, and to listen to  presentations of  some start-up founders financed by Eleven. Also, two workshop were organised on the topic of how to generate innovation ideas and how to select the best ideas.

Additionally, at the project management meeting at the end of the second day, the participants discussed about the forthcoming trainings within the project.
