The WUS Austria Sarajevo Office's request for the second budget amendment was approved.

The WUS Austria Sarajevo Office's request for the second budget amendment was approved. Thanks to that, funds in the amount of 47.000,00 EUR have been reallocated within the existing budget.

The reallocated budgetary means will be used to meet existing and new needs of higher education institutions in B&H. As a result of a huge interest of the academic community in the Brain Gain Program (BGP), the WUS Austria Sarajevo Office decided to support this program with additional 27.000,00 EUR. Along with the planned budget of 54.000,00 EUR, that has already been spent, the budget for BGP adds up to 81.000,00 EUR. The call for applications for the BGP remains open until the end of October.
Within the eLearning-eContent Program, funds in the amount of 11.900,00 were reallocated with the aim to organize an eLearning-eContent Task Force Meeting with international and BH experts and publish a Cross-Cutting Report. Through the „B&H eLearning Task Force Cross Cutting Report“, the WUS Austria Sarajevo office aims to achieve the following goals: 1. To create a cornerstone for the future eLearning Strategy for Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2. To synchronize and standardize ongoing eLearning activities in higher education in B&H, 3. To identify main eLearning infrastructure, players and activities in B&H, 4. To provide an insight into commercial opportunities for universiteis in Lifelong learning processes in accordance with the Bologna Declaration, 5. To reinforce the position of B&H eLearning Task Force through its proven expertize and recoginition among universities.

Certain budgetary means - 8.500,00 EUR - were reallocated to new budgetary lines in order to support the organization of the Zenica Job Fair by financing the participation of 100 top students of technical studies from all over B&H and by that establish a link between the academic community and the labour market.
