DeLLCO Study Visit at the University of Alicante, Spain

Alicante. Study visit within the project “Development of  the Lifelong Learning  Concept at the University of Montenegro” (DeLLCO), took place from 23rd to 27th May 2011 in Alicante. The participants had the opportunity to learn about the implementation of continuing education in Valencia region, Spanish legislation on adult education, management and development of a continuing education centres. Two field visits, to Alicante Adult Education Center and Alicante permanent University also took place. Agenda of the study visit can be downloaded here…

The aim of the project “Development of the Lifelong Learning Concept at the University of Montenegro” is to improve learning opportunities in Montenegrin society at large and achieve higher employability through the development of LLL university strategy, enabling wider access to higher education, incorporating non-formal and informal education into the overarching national qualification framework and enhancing partnerships with relevant social partners. The two-year project is coordinated by the University of Montenegro in partnership with KU Leuven, University of Aarhus, University of Alicante, WUS Austria, and the local partners: Ministry of Education and Science, Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, Centre for Vocational Education and National Employment Bureau of Montenegro.
