WUS Austria Chairman Wolfgang Benedek celebrates his 60th birthday – congratulations!
The
celebration was held in Graz and started with introductory words by Renate Kicker,
director of the ETC - Europäisches Trainings- und Forschungszentrum für
Menschenrechte und Demokratie, of which Wolfgang Benedek is vice-director. The opening was followed by a speech from Roberta Maierhofer, Vice-rector of KF University of Graz, Willibald Posch of the Faculty of Law, Almir Kovacevic of WUS Austria and Barbara Schmiedl of the ETC. WUS Austria contributed to the programme with a short video and some pictures of Wolfgang Benedek including memorable moments with WUS Austria. The celebration continued with food from all around the world and live music from the Balkans.
