WUS Austria Consortium Member in new ACP Project

Brussels, Belgium. From October 25th to 28th, the Launch Event for the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Observatory on Migration, a project funded by the European Union with the financial support of Switzerland and empowered by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) was organized in Brussels.

The Observatory focuses on South-South Migration and will foster research and capacity building in 12 pilot countries in the ACP region.

WUS Austria, represented by Adi Kovacevic, Executive Director, and Martina Handler, Project Manager, participated in the event as Consortium Member and Member of the Academic Advisory Board. In this role, WUS Austria will, among 14 other Consortium Members and 4 associated partners participate in the capacity building activities.

In the Conference, WUS Austria presented its experiences in Brain Gain and Brain Circulation in South-Eastern Europe, as well as a concept for the sustainable linkage of the Observatory and its research work to (higher) education institutions in the pilot countries.
