ERSTE Foundation and Erste Bank support the Balkan Case Challenge (BCC)
For the second year running, ERSTE Foundation is sponsoring “The Balkan Case Challenge”. As a sponsor, Erste Bank will be presenting the business case and is providing the case scenario.
“ERSTE Foundation decided to support the Balkan Case Challenge in 2006, as we consider it an important part of the larger framework of our ’Europe’ programme. This programme aims at intensifying the cooperation between university education and the business world and bringing together the knowledge and ideas of the best CEE students with that of their colleagues in Austria. In addition, the knowledge and ideas displayed could potentially help to attract the attention of possible investors to this region”, stated Boris Marte, managing director of ERSTE Foundation.
“Our success in Central and Eastern Europe is to a huge extent built on people. This is why we pay special attention to the strategic development of human resources within our Group. The participants will have to come up with solutions for high-potential business opportunities at our bank.
