We are very pleased to say that on July 24, WUS – Austria Office in
Prishtina was visited by the Austrian Federal Minister of Science and
Research.
To welcome the minister except of the WUS staff of
Prishtina were invited the beneficiaries of WUS – Austria’s projects
such as: CDP+, AICS and BCC.
The main topics discussed were the current projects of WUS and the plans for the future. Mr. Dedaj, Regional Manager of WUS – Austria in Prishtina, informed the Minister for the development of UP from 98’ up today and has outlined that the Austria is the first state from the European countries that has helped the University of Prishtina. Austria has opened the doors for the students of UP when almost none of other countries have recognized it. In the end 14 beneficiaries invited, introduced their impressions created, experiences end benefits gained from the participation on the specific project.
Minister together with his team was in a two day visit in Kosovo, more specifically during July 23 – 24 and met with Vice Prime ministers, Vice Minister of Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Rector of the UP and other officials.
