Meeting with the representatives of the European Agency for Reconstruction
Regarding the Kosova Case Challenge 2007 project on February 7, 2007,
Regional Manager of WUS – Austria But Dedaj and Project Coordinator of
KCC Mjellma Carabregu had a meeting with Mr. Pleurat Hundozi, Economic
Development Task Manager, from European Agency for Reconstruction
Challenge 2007. During the meeting they agreed that EAR will be a
general sponsor of the competition.
The Agency had its roots in the aftermath of the Kosovo war. In early 2000,
it took over from the European Commission Task Force for the
Reconstruction of Kosovo, a temporary emergency assistance body set up
in the summer of 1999, following the NATO-led intervention against
Yugoslavia. Pristina was the city where the Agency established its
first operational centre.
