Recruitment of Staff for the Quality Assurance Office at the University of Novi Pazar
Belgrade. Within the framework of the project Support to the University of Novi Pazar, financed by the Austrian Development Cooperation, the forming of the Quality Assurance Office is foreseen. Therefore, the University of Novi Pazar and WUS Austria announced the two following positions: a full-time coordinator and a part-time assistant. They will be employees of the University of Novi Pazar and will report directly to the Rector.
The tasks to be fulfilled by the coordinator will cover the areas of strategic management, quality assurance and personnel development. The coordinator will be supported by a part-time assistant, whose major task will be the organisation and development of the University’s course evaluation system.
The University of Novi Pazar made a public announcement of the two open positions and organized the interviews of interested candidates. The interviews took place at the premises of the Rectorate on June 18 and were conducted by Prof. Dr Cemal Dolicanin - Rector of the University of Novi Pazar, Mr Almir Kovacevic – WUS Austria Executive Director and Mr Goran Ostojic – WUS Austria Regional Manager.
Upon completion of the interviews, Mr. Irfan Hodzic was selected for the position of QA coordinator, while Miss Velida Kijevcanin was chosen for the position of the assistant.
In order to develop the necessary skills, Mr. Hodzic and Miss Kijevcanin will spend a short training period in the EU and get support by experienced colleagues from abroad. The official opening of the Quality Assurance Office is foreseen for September 2008.
