Third Training within the „eLearning – eContent Program“
„Train the eContent Developers“
Mostar, June 15th -16th 2006
The third and final training within the eLearning-eContent Program called “Train the eContent Developers” was held from 15th to 16th June 2006 at the Faculty of Information Technologies, University “Džemal Bijedić” in Mostar.
As it was the case at the two previous trainings held in Sarajevo and Banja Luka, the participants had the opportunity to develop and implement an eCourse through practical work on an experimental course – “Intellectual Property Rights”. In this endeavor they were generously supported by the international and local experts. Through presentation, discussions and consultations the experts attempted to give the participants of the training an understanding of all options of the eLearning-eContent technology from technical as well as from pedagogical and didactical aspects.
The discussions that followed after the training pointed out the different views and understandings of the participants concerning the use and application of the most suitable tools for the work on eContent courses. This very readiness and training of the participants to use different tools to develop and set up eContent courses on one of the digital media represents the outmost justification of the organization of these trainings.
In the next period, within the eLearning-eContent Program, it is planned to announce an application for the participation in the second part of the Program (development of eCouses) by the end of the month. University staffs from all BH universities are welcome to apply.
Around the middle of September 2006 a selection of the received applications will be made, after which the selected applicants (max. 15 courses / applicants) will be invited to a two-day seminar together with the participants of he training “Train the eContent Developers”. At the seminar the participants of the training will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and to offer their services to the applicants for the eContent Program.
And last but not least we would like to express our gratitude to our experts who made a great contribution to this program by referring eLearning principals to the participants.
Experts on the trainings were:
Rupert Beinhauer, International expert
Zoran Gajić, Regional expert
Dragan Matić, Regional expert
Dejan Stjepanović, Regional expert

„Train the eContent Developers“
Banja Luka, May 11th -12th 2006
From May 11th – 12th the Second eContent Training took place in EXIT Center, Banja Luka. This project aims at supporting the promotion of Bologna Process and strengthening the capacities of the academic community in B&H that is working on incorporating Bologna principles into their higher education systems. The seminar dealt with the challenges and responsibilities faced by students involved in the Bologna predicted teaching environment. The main topics of the Seminar were:
- Role of students in the development of teaching plans and programs / curricula
